#118: Overwhelming Nature of Tech Updates, Getting Closer to God, Best Nutrition CompanyHi All! We are pleased to welcome you to this week's edition of Undiscovered, a newsletter with exclusive resources and insights expanding from the material found on our main site - becketu.com. Editors Note: It has been a longer wait for this edition to be released, and I deeply apologize to the community. I will explain further on this note below. This week, we will take a look at the overwhelming nature of tech updates, proof of God, and some of the best supplements in the world, and more. Let's dive in: The Overwhelming Nature of Tech UpdatesAs noted in the intro, I have been severely behind in getting this edition of Becket U out to our subscribers. In a way, the updates from the past couple weeks have been so numerous to catch up on, it's been a struggle to make the time to learn about each and every new release that has hit the tech community. There's Clawdbot (rebranded to Moltbot, now Openclaw), optimizing Claude Code, Genie 3, among countless others. Here are just a few of the best resources for trying to keep up: Claude Code

Getting Closer to GodOne thing I have dedicated real time into so far in 2026 is spending more time on faith. I have always felt at home going to church, and I believe this trend will increase among many people this year and beyond. In fact, data shows that Gen Z is leading a resurgence in church attendance. I came across an article titled "Advice that helped me get closer to God" by @BeSaintly, and I believe its content applies to all - not just those with a religious background. Here are a few of my favorites that are universally applicable: I - Master the ordinary things
By this I mean, build a foundation of habits that allow you to do everything else more easily. For example:
- Go to sleep at a normal timeWake up at a normal time (early is good)
- Regularly contemplate the blessings God has given to you
- Read Scripture - the Psalms are a great & easy daily habitLearn more about the Saints - especially ones that you relate to
- Reflect on your day / examine your conscienceMake time for loved ones, even just a phone call
- Create a good routine for work
- Be productive etc.
II - Give Making an effort to seek out the poor really transforms your heart. The time commitment is almost zero.
There's obviously a financial commitment otherwise you wouldn't be giving. Money is good but you can also get them stuff they need, including food, socks, etc. Currently I am trying to do this once a week. The main reason is to give to the needy because Jesus said "whatever you do to the least of my brothers you do to me" The other reason is that it keeps your mind focused on the right thing for large parts of the week. III - Excel in small things Think of your routine, the things you do every day. Now focus in, get extremely granular.
When you wake up, are you going straight to coffee, or saying good morning to your spouse and kids with a hug? At work, are you giving compliments to people who are doing well? Or thanking people for helping you? There's a million things we do everyday that we do on auto-pilot. But if we start to excel in just a few small things, the impact is dramatic on your spiritual life as crazy as that sounds. VIII - Be the friend you want Text your friends out of the blue. Send them stupid reels. Ask them how they're doing.
Be the friend you wish you had and suddenly you'll have friends like that around you, but even if you don't, you'll be shining your light that God gave you to people that you love. It's important also to pick up on subtle clues in conversations that someone may need help - if they do, make sure you are there for them. Bespoke PostI've always been a fan of the curation site Uncrate, but my one complaint is that many of the items there tend to be expensive. As I was exploring the web, though, I came across a new site that might become one I check regularly: bespokepost.com I initially came for the tasteful home decor & living section, where I was specifically looking for this Loftie Smart Alarm Clock. I then found myself exploring their tech, clothing, and chef sections which were filled with quality, affordable, and tasteful products. Some fun finds I encourage you to check out:
My New Favorite Nutrition CompanyAfter searching for the cleanest protein supplement, I came across the ProMix Grass-Fed Whey. I've been taking it for about a month now, and can confidently say it's the lightest yet most robust protein I've tried in over 15 years. This led me to become more curious about the company, and doing research on one of its co-founders, Devon Lévesque. After listening to his interview on the EMPWR Podcast, you'll gain an appreciation for his fascinating journey from being near dead broke, to becoming a personal trainer at the gym, leveraging social media to find business partners, and ultimately coming across a company looking to be the best in the world at what they do. The next products I'm excited to try from the brand are Debloat: Prebiotic + Probiotic as well as their Relax: Magnesium Complex supplements.
